The Santa Fe International Literary Festival is made possible by its dedicated volunteers. In 2025, more than 200 volunteers filled over 460 shifts, contributing more than 1,830 hours in support of Festival operations, authors, and guests. We are so very grateful!

We welcome new volunteers for the 2026 Santa Fe International Literary Festival.
Our volunteer team helps create a warm, organized, and memorable experience for guests and authors throughout the Festival weekend. By completing the volunteer registration form, you’ll be added to our volunteer system and can select shifts based on your interests and availability. We’re grateful for the time and energy our volunteers bring to the Festival and look forward to having you join the team.
REGISTERed Volunteers
Registered and returning volunteers should review the information linked on the Volunteer Home pages. After doing so, shift selection is self-service through the Volunteer Portal.
Shift selection is now fully open for all registered volunteers. Please contact us if you did not receive instructions.
